Success Stories

" It will be 3 years in September since i started my Fitness Program with Scot.  I had allowed myself to get in terrible shape and have seen such a positive change since working with Scot.
Scot challenges you mentally and physically but at the same time recognizes your limits which have expanded greatly under his guidance.  He has been a positive influence on my life."

- Pat Leary, 70, Executive Director for a Private Foundation

" I have always had good intentions for working out and getting into shape. Like so many people, I joined numerous gyms over the years but was never consistent in going on a regular basis.  Having a person like Scot has made a huge difference in my life both mentally and physically.  I never thought I would look forward to any workout program, but I really feel like a different person.  People have noticed my body changes which really makes me feel good about myself and I
feel less anxious and much happier. "

- Martha Dabney, Teacher

" Working with Scot has been exciting.  Each workout is a bit different but still a challenge. Scot pushes when you need pushing but not over doing it.  I feel that I have made good strides forward and have enjoyed the balance in each workout between aerobic training and weight training."

- Brian Cann, 49, Portfolio Manager, Suntrust Bank

Appropriate workout or athletic attire, a towel and a water bottle.

Explain your programs?
We design our workouts based on your fitness level which means your strength and endurance capacity. Strength Training is essentially getting your body stronger by lifting weights using dumbbells, free weights, nautilus machines and more.

Cardiovascular Conditioning involves training your body (heart, lungs and muscles) to work at a faster pace and handle a greater workload.  Minimizing your rest time through your strength training sessions and incorporating activities such as walking, biking or running into your workouts, will greatly improve your cardiovascular condition.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes.  We require a 24 hour notice when you cancel a scheduled workout.

What can i expect from Scot or Don?
You can expect us to be professional, friendly and give you a better workout than you would ever get on your own.

Why hire Scot or Don to be my Personal Trainer??
We will help put you on a regular workout schedule improving your self discipline, show you how to exercise correctly and challenge your physical capabilities.

Do you work only with a specific type of person?
No.  We work with people of any and all physical abilities.  Whether your 16, 30 or 75 years old, we would love to train you.

What is the key to getting in great shape?
In our opinion, it is a combination of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and following a healthy diet.

What makes up a healthy diet?
Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, drinking lots of water, eating lean meats such as chicken breast, fish and following a diet that is primarily low fat/low sugar in nature.

Tell me about your massage therapy programs?
We specialize mainly in deep tissue and hot stone massage therapy.

Deep Tissue massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deep layers of muscle tissue.  It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas.

Hot Stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones.  The heat from the stones helps release tension from tight muscles. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage.
